Editor-in-Chief | Jabril Faraj is a life-long Milwaukeean, writer and Edward R. Murrow award-winning journalist. Jabril, who lives in Harambee, founded Milwaukee Stories in 2014 and has shared more than 200 personal stories of people across the city. They previously reported for the Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service.
Jabril’s vision is to build Milwaukee Stories into the country’s first community-supported news and storytelling outlet. Transparency, fair compensation and nurturing the next generation of people-centered storytellers are essential to that vision. Will you help support it?

A former Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service intern and graduate of Marquette University, Alhaji is passionate about using photography to tell the stories of people in his community.
